ELIMINATOR 385-10.3 SERIES BLOCKS

The BBF Eliminator block is designed with the latest technological advances in engine performance and manufacturing. Currently, the deck height is the same as the production block, which is 10.320”. The Eliminator block is cast from high quality cast iron, utilizing all new production casting and machining tools. It is offered in five versions to best fit the customer’s requirements. The five versions are the Premier, Ultra, HP Billet, HP and Heavy Duty.

Each version of the Eliminator 385-10.3 Series Block is manufactured with the following:

• Material recipe chosen includes a higher content of carbon and silicon similar to that found in cast nodular iron
• Thick main webbing for added strength
• 6.250" cylinder length
• Thick pan rail increases the overall block rigidity
• Thick web for roller cam bearing
• Precision machined by Roush Machining Services

HP Billet
The Eliminator HP is same block casting and cap configuration as the Ultra, but with a full water jacket (not Siamese),and a standard heavy duty valley tray.
• 4.500” maximum bore diameter
• The water jacket does allow coolant to pass between the bores, as does the production 385 series engine
• Flame cut, cold rolled billet steel caps on #2, #3 and #4 (cast iron caps used on #1 and #5)
• All five crankshaft caps have a 4-bolt configuration
• Splayed caps #2, #3 and #4 (straight 4-bolt configuration on cap #1 and #5)
• Machined for dedicated oiling to main bearings
• Pressed-in freeze plugs

HP
The Eliminator HP is same block casting and machining as the HP Billet except for the main bearing caps. The HP block is configured with all cast iron caps.
• 4.500” maximum bore diameter
• Water jacket design allows coolant to pass between the bores
